The international dimension is a major pillar of Paris-Dauphine’s strategy, which has a stated ambition to become a leading European institution in our field of organization and decision science. This international dimension, which is implemented by the International Affairs (IA) division, has become increasingly present in the university’s actions in recent years: a network of scientific cooperation made up of highlevel partners, including the SIGMA alliance; training programs with partner universities (28 dual degrees at the Bachelor’s and Master’s level, 28 off-site programs abroad); mobility increasingly enjoyed by more students and scholarships to support it; and our off-site campuses (Tunis in 2009, then London in 2014, and Casablanca in 2016).
By way of illustration, more than 70% of students in L3 spend a semester abroad, and 16% of Master’s 2 graduates work in locations around the world (2016 graduating class). Currently, 23% of Master’s students and 25% of faculty at the university are from international locations.
In Executive education, more than 20 programs are offered abroad: Executive Doctorate in China and Lebanon, MBA International Paris in Algeria, Egypt, Lebanon, Morocco, the Indian Ocean, Senegal, and Tunisia, Executive MBA in Canada and France, Master’s and Certificates in Mauritius, Morocco, and Tunisia.
The university is also developing an English track (courses taught in English) to support language learning and facilitate the work of international students. Finally, the university relies on the strategic partnerships and master agreements already set up by PSL with major universities in Britain (Cambridge, UCL), North America (NYU, Columbia), Switzerland (EPFL), and Asia (Taiwan National University).
