Arts & Culture
Dauphine’s goal is to educate and train future generations of executives, entrepreneurs, leaders and scholars to be both experts in their respective domains but also socially responsible, cultured, open-minded members of the community. The Arts and Culture are an essential aspect of education and student life.
With that goal in mind, Dauphine supports student club and association projects, develops partnerships with major French cultural institutions, offers a wide range of on-campus cultural activities and facilitates student access to the capital’s cultural events.
Student Services coordinates university cultural activities through:
Student associations and clubs
Dauphine Film Club (ACD), Dauphine Theater Group (ATD), the Student Bureau (BDE), Dauphine Photo Lab, Dauphine Culture (a Masters 2- Managing Cultural Institutions association) and l’Oreille de Dauphine Music Club organize events all year long. Dauphine Art Week, held yearly in March, is the university’s cultural high point.
Partnerships with major French cultural institutions
With support from Fondation Dauphine, Dauphine has developed partnerships with numerous French cultural institutions:
- The Centre Pompidou
- The Comédie Française
- The Musée National du Moyen-Âge (Musée de Cluny)
- The Grand Palais (RMN-GP Réunion des Musées Nationaux-Grand Palais
50 Bachelor’s 2 students took part in Museum Night 2011 as docents for the Grand Palais, after an RMN-GP training session. A very successful experience for all!

- The COGE – Grandes Écoles Choir and Orchestra (3 concerts are scheduled for 2012)
- The OCUP – Paris Universities Orchestra and Choir (2 concerts per year)
- The PSL Orchestra and Choir
