3rd annual Start-up Weekend, organized by Dauphine Genius and D-Incubator
The 2017 edition of Start-up Week-end, organized by D-Incubator and Dauphine Durable, focused on "Greentech" wealth of environmental innovations.
Members of the Dauphine Genius student association all share a common goal: to increase young people's awareness of entrepreneurship and start-ups, particularly in a world of constant innovation. The association organizes a variety of events around entrepreneurship throughout the year.
This year, Dauphine Genius decided to join forces with Dauphine Durable to organize a Start-up Week-end devoted to Greentech and projects that combine innovation and environmental transition.
What was the result? … an incredible profusion of ideas, committed mentors and judges, busy organizers, and of course, enthusiastic participants from all over France, including several Université Paris-Dauphine MBA students.
The week-end went by in an animated whirl that ended with the jury's awards. This year's winner was the Ours Vert (Green Bear) who delivered a beautifully constructed pitch. Their concept? A collection of educational kits designed to raise children's (and parent's) environmental awareness. The winners will receive legal assistance and advisory to mount their start-up. For many participants, the week-end was also an excellent opportunity for networking and encounters that will be instrumental as they embark on the path to entrepreneurship.
The organizers would like to extend warm thanks to all who contributed to making the week-end a success and in particular to Université Paris-Dauphine and D-Incubator, Fondation Dauphine's start-up incubator for Dauphine alumni.
