Dauphine Alumni launches the Club Dauph’in Retail
The new club brings together alumni from the university’s Master’s 206 – Distribution and Customer Relations with Master’s graduates from other programs working in the Retail sector.
Why create a club devoted to Retail? Dauphine’s Master’s 206, Distribution and Customer Relations, already counts some 600 graduates, to which we can add a significant network of alumni from other programs and who work in the retail sector.
The club will focus its activities on exploring how business and commerce in all sectors of activity is changing, and engage in discussions and exchange with alumni working in those sectors.
Club Dauph’in Retail is fortunate to have the active support of its honorary President, Régis Schultz, alumni of Dauphine’s Master’s 225 - Corporate Finance and Financial Engineering, President of the French retail chain Monoprix, and member of Group Casino’s Executive Committee.
The club is planning three flagship events for 2018:
- January: the club’s inaugural conference on the topic Retail Checkout
- April: the SCOPS award ceremony for the best commercial innovations of the year, in the presence of many well-known figures of French Retail
- Mid-June: a breakfast conference (topic to be announced)
One of the clubs defining features is that each year, 3 students from the Master’s 206 program will join with the club’s 5 standing coordinators (alumni) to coordinate the club and its initiatives.
