Dauphine’s Executive MBA celebrates its 20th birthday!
The Executive MBA is a double degree in partnership with ESG UQÀM, the Université du Québec à Montréal
Université Paris-Dauphine, was founded 50 years ago, in 1968. It is the first French university to have been awarded EQUIS accreditation (2009) and is a founding member of the PSL (Paris Sciences & Lettres)Research University initiative for excellence. Dauphine’s research-based teaching, small class-sizes, internationally recognized research, strong institutional and faculty ties to the business and economic communities, and resolutely international outlook make the university a pioneering force in the organizational and decision sciences.
Dauphine’s Executive MBA was developed 20 years ago in partnership with the School of Management of the Université du Québec à Montréal (ESG UQÀM). EMBA curriculum is based on both current practice and applied research, making it perfectly suited to Executive Education. The program’s ultimate goal is to build and sharpen thinking and decision-making skills so that graduates may contribute to developing their organizations efficiently and responsibly while addressing today’s societal and environmental challenges.
The program is international, bilingual, cross-cultural, and centered on values of social responsibility and sustainability. It has top-flight faculty from Paris-Dauphine and EDG UQÀM as well as distinguished guest lecturers. The program accepts 40 Paris-based and 40 Montreal-based students annually. An average student is 38 years old and has between 13 and 14 years of professional experience. Students come from all sectors of the economy, all professions and functions, and from small, medium and large organizations. The student body is between 25% and 30% female and, on the average, international students represent 30% of each graduating class.
The program has a 1,500-strong alumni network. We are proud to say that 20 years into the program our greatest satisfaction is to see how far our graduates have advanced, be it at their original company or in a new one. May of our graduates have gone on to top management positions, 15% of our graduates have started their own business and their overall level of satisfaction with the program is high.
The business community also recognizes the Dauphine/ESG UQÀM Executive MBAfor its excellence and pertinence. They consider it one of the best of its kind, and one of Paris-Dauphine’s flagship programs. To demonstrate their support for Dauphine’s EMBA, several top executives have even signed on as class sponsors.
