The Paris-Dauphine library receives NOCTAMBU+ certification
From September 25th, 2017 through January 26th, 2018, the Dauphine library will remain open from 9 am to 10 pm Monday through Friday and from 10 am to 6 pm on Saturdays – earning us the French Ministry of Higher Education NOCTAMBU+ certification.
Paris-Dauphine’s main library is now open 73 hours a week! To offer extended opening hours, we hired a team of library assistants present from 8 pm to 10 pm. During evening hours, some library services may be unavailable, but users have full access to study and reading rooms, and all library holdings. They may also borrow books, provided that they are in possession of their Paris-Dauphine Library card.
We are delighted to say that the extended hours initiative has earned the Dauphine Library the French Ministry of Higher Education, Research, and Innovation’s NOCTAMBU+ certification. NOCTAMBU+, part of the ministry’s “Open Libraries” program, is awarded to University Libraries that meet the following criteria:
- Open to users 63 hours or more a week
- Open to users at least 245 days a year
Paris-Dauphine’s extended hours initiative goes beyond NOCTAMBU+’s minimum criteria.
Extended hours will remain in place until January 26th 2018. If evening attendance is sufficient, extended hours will remain continue until May 2018.
