Two Dauphine students receive awards for their stories on the social economy


Two Dauphine IPJ, Ecole Pratique du Journalisme, students received the Charles Gide Award for the Best News Story on the Social Economy, an annual award given by the Fondation Crédit Coopératif

The jury, comprised of professional journalists, chose three winning stories for 2014:

  • 1st Prize
    Jessica HUYNH
    Institut Pratique du Journalisme – Paris
    'Community shop – a ticket to social and economic reintegration'
  • 2nd prize
    Barbara SATRE
    Ecole  de Journalisme et de Communication – Aix-Marseille
    'Ardelaine is reweaving the wool industry'
  • 3rd prize
    Charlotte LAURENT

    Institut Pratique du Journalisme – Paris
    'Homeless  and….. Tourist Guide'

The three stories will be available for publication in printed or internet media. Publication will contribute to the ongoing effort to raise public awareness of the social economy while showcasing the work of three aspiring journalists.
