Université Paris-Dauphine & AMP's joint EpiVacPlus initiative receives EFMD's Silver Award

Excellence in Practice Award Winning Case (EiP) 2016, in the Professional Development category

Once a year, EFMD, via its Excellence in Practice (EiP) initiative, recognizes outstanding Education & Development partnerships in the areas of Leadership, Professional, Talent, and Organizational development.

The 2016 Silver Award in the area of Professional Development was presented to the Université Paris-Dauphine/AMP (Agence de Médecine Préventive) EpiVacPlus partnership, created in 2002.

For the past 15 years, EpiVacPlus has contributed to improving the performance of immunization programs in West Africa through on-the-job training and technical support. The program has trained over 600 doctors and pharmacists in 11 French-speaking Sub-Saharan countries of West Africa, and has significantly improved vaccination coverage in 360 sanitary districts representing 6,500,000 infants under the age of 1 and women of childbearing age.

EiP awards (4 Gold Medals, 4 Silver Medals) are conferred by an international panel of judges including members of EFMD, business schools and educators, on the basis of real-world impact, excellence in project and field management. Since EFMD launched the EiP awards in 2007, 200 case studies have competed for the awards.

The Université Paris-Dauphine /AMP case study was presented at the October 2016 EiP session in Porto, Portugal.
