Biographie

A. Ridha Mahjoub est Professeur Classe Exceptionnelle à l’Université Paris-Dauphine. Il est également membre du laboratoire LAMSADE, CNRS. Il est titulaire d’une Maîtrise de mathématiques de la faculté des sciences de Tunis obtenu en 1978, d’un DEA, d’un doctorat de 3ème cycle et d’un doctorat d’Etat en recherche opérationnelle de l’Université de Grenoble, préparés entre 1978 et 1985. Il était auparavant professeur associé à l’Université du Roi Saoud, Riyadh, Arabie Saoudite entre 1986 et 1991, professeur à l’Université de Brest, France entre 1986 et 1991 et professeur à l’Université de Clermont-Ferrand entre 1998 et 2007.  Il était Co-Directeur du département de formation et de recherche de mathématiques et informatique (MIDO) de Dauphine entre 2008 et 2013. Ses domaines de recherche incluent la théorie et les applications des approches polyédrales pour la modélisation, l'analyse et la résolution des problèmes d'optimisation combinatoire, la programmation en nombres entiers, ainsi que la complexité des algorithmes et la théorie des graphes. Une partie de ses recherches a récemment porté sur la conception d’algorithmes exacts efficaces pour les problèmes de conception de réseaux. Dr. Mahjoub est auteur et co-auteur de plus de 120 papiers de recherche. Plusieurs de ses papiers sont publiés dans des journaux de premier ordre comme Mathematical Programming, Mathematics of Operations Research, SIAM Journal on Discrete Mathematics, Discrete Mathematics, Discrete Applied Mathematics, Discrete Optimization, Informs Journal on Computing, Networks… Il dirige le groupe de travail français Polyèdres et Optimisation Combinatoire (POC), et il a initié la conférence internationale ISCO.Dr. Mahjoub a édité et co-édité des livres et plusieurs numéros spéciaux de revues. Il est actuellement éditeur en chef de la revue internationale RAIRO-Operations Research, éditeur pour les revues Computers & Industrial Engineering et EURO Journal on Computational Optimization et éditeur associé de Journal of Combinatorial Optimization. Dr. Mahjoub a obtenu le prix d'excellence de la Société Tunisienne de la Recherche Opérationnelle pour ses contributions et ses activités  scientifiques.
